"As long as you understand hey, i'm not paying for luxury, then sure this was a good alternative to a capsule hotel." - accurate. I would happily stay here again.

Single, non smoking room. Coming from a ryokan in Ito, I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights because I preferred a private room over a shared/capsule hostel. It was decent for the price. It works well if you plan to be out all your days. I don't think i'd recommend if your days were spent in the room like tv or entertainment or anything like that. As long as you understand hey, i'm not paying for luxury, then sure this was a good alternative to a capsule hotel. **Building:** - Located in a well-lit main road, couple convenience stores nearby and 3 different subway lines + a bus stop are nearby, as well as a laundry place. - Spiral staircase down to lobby honestly isnt bad, just walk down 1 rotation. - Entrance seemed fine, theres 1 vending machine, coffee machine and microwave. - Lighting kinda moody, elevator not the most modern and you can see a bit of damage in places where it technically doesnt matter but doesnt help presentation. - Hallway smells funky, but the room smells ok **Room 302:** - Note: I've kept majority of belongings locked in my luggage whenever I go out. - Unlocking door is with a physical key with block, do not lose this and keep it with you when going out because front desk retires at 11pm. - Door is a bit weak on closing itself. It does auto-close but I tug it when leaving just incase. - Decent size room, bed looks fine. - Bed feels like air mattress but not sure. - Desk was a desk. - Bathroom a bit small, kinda felt like RV home quality. - Bathroom lighting is too dark. - If you need a cup to rinse mouth, the desk had a glass in a sanatize plastic wrap you can use. - Haven't filled tub, just showered. - Toilet paper is good, not the super thin rolls like other places. - Bedroom lighting is okay, you need to turn on each source at their locations (room, bed lamp, table lamp, etc). - There was exactly 1 instance where the table lamp felt like it shocked me when going to turn it off from its brightest setting. - No window opening, nor window view. - Recommending turning AC knob all the way when you enter for air flow; it's not that strong of an AC. - Never turned on fridge, looked a bit stained. - Didnt use TV. - Didnt use Wi-Fi. - Didnt use phone. - Didnt use boiler plate thing. - I slept fine. I have no noise complaint. **Hotel Service:** - Checking in was as simple as giving my name and passport, then signing. I did this in very simple English. - No laundry in hotel, its a 5min walk around the corner. - not drinkeable water as far as I know? But vending machine has bottled water for 110 yen (decent price). - Room service cleans, makes bed and supplies new towels between 10am and afternoon, never asked precisely but have had them knock while I was getting ready once. - It was a bit stressful because signs say if you lose your key, its a 20,000 yen fee, and if you stain bed/carpet with food or drink, its a 10,000 yen fee. All hotels have damage costs though I'm sure. - they did supply pajamas as well to use during hotel stay. I've never used them. - Ice machine available on the upper floors. - Never tried their breakfast or coffee. - There is an option to leave your key with the desk when going out, but again never used that service because if I come back after 11pm I'm screwed. - Cleaners threw away my empty plastic bottles and garbage, but not a receipt + sealed hand-wipe I had sitting on the desk, so the cleaning wasn't totally assumed/destructive. OVERALL it was fine, you get what you paid. It was a place to sleep and it wasn't haunting or negatively affecting, just not luxurious, just not fancy. Use it to rest / sleep. Spend your days exploring Japan, and this hotel will work and you'll have a good time.

First of all, it's too small. The air conditioning is on and off. Still, it's cool if you keep it on for a long time. And since it's an air conditioning system, it's a classic key system, so if you're used to things like card key door locks, you'll have a hard time finding it. I was like that too. And if you're going to be out for a long time, you can leave your key at the front desk. Oh, the staff are friendly, and best of all, it's rare to find a hotel that offers free cleaning these days, but this hotel does. The location is really good, right in front of Asakusabashi Station Exit A4. The breakfast is also delicious.
