Taximtown Hotel

Couple positives about this hotel: 1. Its convenient location, close to many amenities. 2. The breakfast lady in the kitchen, who was genuinely kind and made guests feel welcome and at home. 3. The cleaning lady Unfortunately, everything else about my stay was not that great. The bathrooms were a little bit moldy, and the showers were extremely small and uncomfortable. Although the hotel claims to provide daily room service and restock essentials such as coffee, tea, water, and towels, this was not properly done. There were multiple signs posted encouraging guests to skip housekeeping to “save on washing costs.” I agreed and reused my towels for a few days to be considerate. However, after three days, I ran out of drinking water in the evening. When I went to the front desk and asked for water, the night manager charged me 20 TL in cash for each small bottle (i paid 100 TL so i don't have to ask again in the morning) — despite the fact that I was staying for eight days. This was unacceptable and unprofessional. On the fourth day, the same night manager asked me to pay my remaining balance in advance, even though I still had four days left in my stay. He claimed the hotel manager had instructed him to collect early payment. The way this was handled made me feel as though I was being treated like someone who might run away without paying. Overall, i was disappointed.

The room was large, but it was very cold and the heating was not adequate, to the point that we caught a cold. The toiletries were not complete. Everything was a bit old and worn out.
