A mediocre hotel, not worthy of a 4-star rating. The TV has been out of service for the third day in a row in all the rooms.

Worst hotel experience of my life – strongly not recommended I stayed at Taj Marhaba Hotel in Sousse, Tunisia, and honestly, this was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. From the moment I arrived, everything went downhill. The accommodation was extremely poor. The beds were in terrible condition, some parts literally felt rotten, and the overall cleanliness of the room was unacceptable. The hotel looks very old and badly maintained, with clear signs of neglect everywhere. The food was another major disappointment. The quality was very low, poorly prepared, and repetitive. It was far from what you would expect even from an average hotel, let alone one that claims to be a proper resort. The swimming pool was half broken and clearly unsafe. Maintenance seems nonexistent, and the whole area looked abandoned rather than welcoming. What shocked me the most was the staff behavior, especially at night. Some workers were openly drinking alcohol, acting unprofessionally, and playing loud music late at night. This made it impossible to rest or feel comfortable. Even worse, the hotel allows people to bring prostitutes into the rooms, and there were loud screams at night that everyone could hear. When guests complained, the management did absolutely nothing. There was no respect for families, couples, or anyone looking for peace. Honestly, for the sake of your mental health and comfort, do not stay here. I truly regret not spending my time simply on the beach instead of wasting money and energy on this place. Avoid this hotel at all costs.
