Choosing Tejaprana Bisma in Ubud was a stroke of luck. First of all, the staff were incredibly friendly. And the food was delicious. The cleanliness of the accommodations was top-notch. It wasn't far from the center of Ubud, so I could walk there. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Bali!

I stayed here for four days during my trip to Ubud, Bali — and honestly, it was one of the highlights of my entire journey. This place didn’t just meet my expectations, it completely exceeded them. 1. The Kindest, Most Genuine Staff Balinese hospitality is already world-famous, but the team here is on another level. There was something so sincere in their smiles and the way they carried themselves — you could truly feel the warmth in every interaction. It never felt forced or transactional. They were incredibly attentive, detail-oriented, and genuinely caring. It’s also very kid-friendly, which I appreciated so much. From housekeeping to the thoughtful turndown service each evening, everything was handled with care and precision. Service here isn’t just good — it’s heartfelt. 2. Beautiful Resort Facilities in a Perfect Location The location is amazing — so close to Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary that in the mornings, you can actually spot monkey families nearby. Waking up to that felt so uniquely “Ubud.” The property itself feels relatively new and very well-maintained. My villa was stunning — from the elegant interior design to the private pool, every detail felt luxurious yet comfortable. It’s the kind of place where you step inside and instantly feel relaxed. 3. Dining & Overall Experience Let’s talk about the food — because this truly surprised me. At many resorts, dining is decent but nothing memorable. Here? The quality easily rivals a fine dining restaurant. Breakfast was exceptional (the Eggs Benedict is a must!), and even the pastries were beautifully done. Room service was consistently impressive as well. And the spa — getting a massage with that beautiful view at such a reasonable price was the perfect finishing touch to each day.

The rooms and services are very good. But the spa service is the worst. I made a reservation for the last time and visited. She had good skills and decent power. But I was left unattended for more than half of the service time. I was in a hurry before I got off work, so I only put my heart into cleaning up after leaving me unattended. After the massage, there was no action to wipe it with a steam towel. I had to run to the accommodation with my oil-stained body and feet and take a shower. Didn't even treat me to after tea after the massage. It became the worst spa I've ever experienced. I think it's a very big problem if this manual is not her mistake but the hotel's policy.
