The rooms are clean, modern, and spacious. The bedding is comfortable. Be aware that there isn't much around the hotel, but you can find a 7-Eleven a 5-minute walk away and a few street food stalls. Allow 25 minutes by taxi to reach the tourist sites. On the downside, there's noise in the hallways until 2 or 3 a.m., with doors slamming and people shouting. The pool is shaded, but it's very pleasant.

We quite liked the Thaya Hotel. The staff was friendly, everything was clean, and it was close to the airport. The room was just like in the photos, with a great view from the 12th floor, and we also found the breakfast very tasty. The breakfast has a more Asian theme, but well, we were in Bangkok after all 😊 The pool is small but nice, and the cocktails were also very good. It's rather quiet and a bit out of the way, so getting around by grab taxi, etc., isn't a problem. But it's easy to get into the action. Thank you for the short but pleasant stay!

This isn't a 5-star hotel, maybe 4, but no more. The price is too high considering the quality of service and the location; it's extremely far from the city center and points of interest, requiring at least a 30-minute scooter ride. I think the price should be lowered. The positive point: the room is clean and spacious! Negative points: - No one helps you with your luggage, neither on arrival nor departure, even if you're a woman traveling alone with two large suitcases. They'll just watch you, but they won't even hold the door open for you. - The people at reception are never smiling or welcoming. At check-in, after they saw me struggling with my two suitcases, I had to wait a few minutes for the receptionist to finish counting the bills before being greeted and seen. - Breakfast isn't varied enough; there's a clear lack of choice, and there's almost only fruit for the sweet option (I'm not counting the dry croissants; I don't know who would want to eat them). - The gym closes far too early in the evening: 7 PM. - The pool water is freezing, so you can't even use it. - I reported breaking a glass of water in the room, and they charged me 100 baht. I doubt that a basic glass costs 100 baht. The sofa in my room was covered in pen marks; it was probably from a child. Did they charge the previous guest for the sofa?
