The Bryant Park Hotel

I visited New York City in November to experience the Bryant Park Winter Village before the crowds arrived. The Bryant Park Hotel, located directly across the street, was an ideal choice. When I booked, I shared my plans with the staff. They were enthusiastic, recommended the best room for my stay, and expressed their eagerness to welcome me. After arriving at LaGuardia, I took the Uber Shuttle, which dropped me near the hotel. I left my luggage with the concierge, freshened up in the lounge bathroom, and set out to explore the Winter Village and the city. When I was heading back to the hotel, I called ahead and they put my suitcase in my room. Once I arrived, I picked up my keys and went upstairs. The hallway was a bit quirky, but that’s expected in an older building. When I opened the door, I was amazed. My room was on the third floor with two windows overlooking the Winter Village and the Library. There was a king size bed, a couch, and extra seating. The bathroom had a large soaking tub separate from the walk-in shower. This was not your typical hotel room. The price matched the experience, but it was the perfect place to relax after a day of sightseeing. The next morning, I stayed in the cozy robe and slippers for a while. Since I’m from Florida, the chilly New York autumn felt extra cold. I called the front desk to ask how long the free coffee and muffin breakfast would be available. I joked with Jo, the desk attendant, about coming down in my robe since I wasn’t ready to get dressed. We both laughed. Later, she called me back, asked what I wanted, and brought it right to my room. It was such a nice surprise! Although I stayed only one night, I chose an upgraded room and was pleased with my decision. The staff were very friendly, and the location was ideal for walking to all my destinations. If you are considering an upgraded hotel experience during the holidays, I highly recommend the Bryant Park Hotel. The staff will make your experience special.

Very good hotel, we stayed about 8-9 years ago but forgot to leave a review. Hotel came up in dinner conversation today so I figured I should leave a review. We came from Canada to stay and their service was the best we experienced at that time. They found and returned something to use that we accidentally left in the hotel room.

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, close to everything and very convenient. The front desk manager, Shannen, was incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Would definitely stay here again!
