The Charm Resort Phuket

A nice, clean hotel. The rooms are large, the linens are clean. The room has a mini kitchen: a large refrigerator, kettle, toaster, sink, and dishes. The location is 5 out of 5. The clean sea is 1 minute away. There are plenty of food stalls, cafes, and a 7-Eleven. Massages are a 5-10-minute walk away. Bangla is a 10-15-minute walk away. The staff is 💪👍. There's a gym, rooftop pool, and sauna. I'll definitely come back. The hotel is clean and good. I recommend it. Value for money ❤️

This was my second time staying at The Charm Resort Phuket, and once again it did not disappoint. Each time I visit Phuket, I stay here for 3–4 weeks, so I’ve had the chance to really experience the resort beyond a short holiday stay. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a two-floor loft-style suite, which was such a thoughtful gesture. When we entered the room, we were welcomed with beautiful rose decorations, a “welcome back” sign, and complimentary cookies a genuinely sweet and unexpected touch that made us feel valued as returning guests. The suite itself was spacious and well laid out. The upper floor featured a dining area, a large couch, and a TV, and to our surprise, an absolutely massive private balcony with a hot tub, which quickly became one of our favorite features. The room had good amenities overall and was very comfortable for a longer stay. The only small thing I’d note (and this might just be me traveling with way too many outfits!) is that a few extra hangers in the closet would have been helpful. As for the hotel itself, the only reason I’m not giving a full five stars is that some areas feel a bit outdated, and I do think the gym could benefit from additional equipment, especially for guests staying long-term. That said, the rooftop infinity pool is a standout and easily one of our favorite spots. There’s a bar, plenty of lounge space, music playing, and a fun, lively vibe it’s clearly a guest favorite for a reason. What truly sets this resort apart, though, is the staff. From the moment we arrived, everyone was warm, friendly, and incredibly welcoming. Even during busy check-in and check-out times, staff members consistently took the time to smile, say hello, and acknowledge us when we passed through the lobby or exited the elevators. That level of attentiveness, especially when they’re so busy, really makes a difference. Overall, this is a lovely hotel and one I would absolutely recommend to anyone visiting Phuket, whether for a short stay or a longer trip. We’ve returned twice now, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Rooms with terrible maintenance; we had to change rooms because of a water leak near the stairs, and it took them a long time to "decide" whether they would change our room. Cleanliness was mediocre, there's only one pool on the top floor of another building (different from the building we stayed in), not many amenities in the rooms (few electrical outlets, for example), and they don't offer beach service (which is a block away from the hotel). Zero view from the balconies (you can only see the rooms of neighboring hotels). Breakfast was mediocre. I wouldn't return or recommend it. They need to renovate the facilities and improve the service.
