What a great hotel, perfectly located, 25mins walk to the stunning Petronas Towers, likewise to Petaling Street. Good metro service and connections, fast and reliable. All staff were incredibly friendly, always a warm welcome and smile. Room was perfect too. Food yummy and generous portions. Will definitely be back !!!

I made a mistake by booking this hotel for a corporate event and realized later that it’s not designed for a business event. The facilities weren’t proper for it, and the staff still have to improve on what it’s like for a business event. The meeting room the M floor doesn’t have natural light, and the lighting is very yellow. The atmosphere was not that encouraging to keep people energized. The staff had no idea of how to deal with the business event. I found it quite strange that the staff had no clue of what to offer for coffee breaks when I asked whether they have options for snacks when they have an on-site restaurant there. They also took awhile to respond on how I could check whether the room was ready and asked whether it could be 8-9 pm for me to go check despite a duty manager is there. Regarding the equipment, the hotel originally had a medium flipchart stands and a small one. As things got frustrated, the manager has to jump in and took more flipchart stands for the event. The morning break on the first day was late. The lunch was also served late. We had only one hour lunch break, and they decided to serve the main course at around 40 minutes later. This is not to mention other small hiccups that I found the hotel to be quite unprofessional in handling them. Regarding the room, it doesn’t appear like the hotel has the same standard for the room in the same type. We booked The Den, the participants experienced different negative things. Some of the rooms didn’t have a chair or proper windows. My room has a wash basin outside of the bathroom. The room’s function is actually very bad. It’s the design flaws that make the guest experience quite negative. For example, when the wash basin is outside of the bathroom, due to the room being small, the water can splash everywhere when you wash your face. It’s also placed next to where you hang your clothes, and that place is installed on top of a drawer. This makes it hard when you try to hang long pants (it’s good only for shirts and shorts, seems like). The curtain has two layers. Both are opaque. I don’t understand why when the inner layer is supposed to be less opaque one to allow natural light into the room. The hotel also doesn’t care about providing a guest a pair of slipper. There’s a box of tissues there, but it looks really sad — never refilled or paid attention too when I was there. The housekeepers wear their personal sneakers into the room though when they clean your room. Also, they don’t replace your pillowcases if you don’t tell them to due to their conservation policies. On the last night, the bed sheets weren’t even tucked in properly. They basically just lay the bed sheets on the top of the bed without tucking anything in and that’s it. Overall, I do not recommend this hotel for anything though. It’s really a negative experience having been staying in many hotels personally. They don’t pay attention to the guests’ experience enough. The design and function was bad, and the staff (I believe not all but some of those that I have dealt with, specifically) being unprofessional which make the whole situation quite frustrated. If you are considering whether to choose this place, please choose somewhere else. Don’t waste your time here. P.S. The restaurant is good. It’s worth to try their food, but other than that — it’s not worth it. It’s aesthetic indeed but not functional.

Not worth the price at all. The staff were friendly, but the amenities were extremely poor. Everything had to be requested. The room was small and definitely not worth what I paid. There were no basic items such as a toothbrush, laundry bag, kettle, or tea and coffee sachets. I had to call for everything. There was only one trash bin, and it was inside the bathroom, which was inconvenient. The toilet didn’t even have a bidet. Come on, this is Malaysia! And one more thing, I wasn’t feeling well and pregnant when I arrived, after my husband dropped me off at the lobby, he had to make a full round on the main road just to get to the parking area! Overall, it was the worst experience for the price I paid. I would not recommend and will definitely not return.
