People make your visit memorable and the warmth and welcoming vibe from all the staff is what will get us back here again! The hotel is exceptionally clean, wonderfully laid out, tranquil with majestic scenery and caves. The Cliff bar was mesmerizing. The spa treatments were so therapeutic and Carolyne is a wonderful soul and an asset to the hotel, she has a lot of knowledge and experience in her healing modalities. The Zest restaurant was by far the best place we ate during our visit. The food was full of flavour and the choices provided catered for all. We were greeted by entertainment of violinist and saxophonist. Rick’s cafe was only a 20 minute walk away from the hotel. Everything was pretty much walking distance from the hotel. We enjoyed our walks daily which were safe both during the day and at night. Anyone thinking to come to Negril for a stay…..you need to check this place out. One love

The Cliff Hotel was visited around 8:30pm for a birthaversary dinner. It was visited to have dinner and NOT for accommodation. A lot could not be seen at that time, as most areas were a bit dark. The reservation was made explaining this special ocassion. They didn't make it feel special. I was seated in a chair with balloons and the server expressed best wishes. Nothing complementary was offered neither did they sang any birthday song (like every other location that I've visited for this occasion in the past). I gave the service a 4 star as the server did what she had to do. She checked in periodically and offered refills as required. However, it was evident that the property is well maintained and is much larger than it appeared from the road. The waves were hitting against the rocks at the hotel which would make eating outdoors impossible. This was due to the cold front the Island was experiencing. It's beautiful from what I was able to see. The hotel was rated 3 stars overall because the overall opportunity to make a good impression or to make a special occasion special, was missed.
