My stay at The Den in Den Bosch was quite good. The rooms are reasonably modern and equipped with all sorts of modern materials, making it a comfortable stay. I stayed for two days, but after the first day there was no housekeeping service. The bed is comfortable, although the fitted sheets on the mattress come off easily because they're essentially just loose sheets placed over the mattress. You do have to sleep with the window open, otherwise it gets warm quickly. The mechanical ventilation is difficult to adjust; it only goes up or down every 3°C. The breakfast was good, but it's quite expensive for what you get. Unfortunately, the reception was rather lukewarm. Furthermore, I forgot my AirPod case during my stay, so I had to contact the hotel. They then sent me a link to an app, which led me to a courier service and charged me €40 to have the AirPod case sent home, even though I live in the Netherlands and it could easily have been sent by mail. After that, I had to contact the hotel several times. Initially, they were quite difficult about helping me ship at a normal rate. That is, until I spoke to Ilse at the front desk. She was incredibly friendly and truly knows what it means to go the extra mile for guests. She personally arranged for my AirPod case to be shipped at a normal rate. Guests like Ilse are the true gems of hospitality.

Very nice rooms! My room had a view to the bridge overthe railways. Not too much noise coming from the railways but light sleepers might notice something. Staff is very nice and the breakfast is good. Remember to visit the rooftop bar Current! Short walking distance to the restaurants in the city or around the corner.
