Very disappointing and unethical experience. We fully understand that smoking is not allowed inside hotel rooms, but there was no clear notice stating that smoking on the balcony was also prohibited. Despite this, we were fined RM500. After arguing for nearly 20 minutes, the staff (Ms. Kyan) offered to reduce the fine by RM200 only if we wrote a positive review. I refused. If guests are truly at fault, why is a discount offered in exchange for a positive review? This makes me seriously question how the hotel’s positive reviews are being obtained. This experience felt extremely uncomfortable and unprofessional. Penalizing guests while pressing them to leave good reviews is unacceptable. I hope management takes this matter seriously. The highlight of the stay is undoubtedly the pool and gym, which offer fantastic views of the the KL Tower, Merdaka 118, the Petronas Towers and the Kuala Lumpur skyline. The views from the infinity pool and gym are impressive and make for great photos. However, the property feels overcrowded, which affects the overall experience. Lift waiting times are long, particularly during peak hours, and the lobby is often noisy, rowdy, and very crowded. The drop-off and traffic situation is another downside. The entrance is shared between two buildings (The Face Hotel/Platinum and The Face Suites/Platinum 2), leading to congestion and confusion, especially during check-in and check-out times. Navigating the area can feel messy and stressful. The room itself is spacious, which is a plus, but the decor is dated and could use a refresh. Soundproofing is poor, and noise from outside and neighbouring units can be heard, which may be an issue for light sleepers. Overall, The Platinum 2 / The Face Suites offers great views and standout facilities, but the crowding, traffic congestion, and ageing interiors detract from the experience. Best suited for travellers prioritising skyline views and space, and less ideal for those seeking peace, efficiency, and a more refined hotel environment.

We stayed at Face hotel in Dec 2025, this was one of the most disappointing hotel stays I’ve had. The overall building quality is very poor, with extremely weak sound insulation. Noise travels easily throughout the building, making it difficult to relax or rest. The entire property had a strong lingering smell of food, which affected the overall environment and comfort of the stay. The swimming pool appeared poorly maintained and unhygienic, which made me uncomfortable using the facilities. Inside the apartment, the lighting was dim and the cleanliness was below acceptable standards. The sofa had multiple visible stains of unknown origin, and the room generally felt unclean and neglected. The hotel staff were not friendly at all - when I complained about the blood marks on the sheets - he looked me with a cold look seems that I over react. Anything we asked - there is only one answer was " dont know!" Based on my extensive travel experience and stays at numerous star-rated hotels, this property does not meet even basic two-star standards. Overall, this property does not meet the standards expected of a hotel listed on Expedia. I would not recommend it.
