The hotel is generally fine, the location is excellent, but they changed our room three times because the door lock and the heating weren't working. The worst part is that they don't honor their commitment at check-out to refund the $50 deposit per night. I've been waiting for over 40 days and still haven't received my $400 refund. I've called and no one answers, and I've sent several emails without getting a response.

Wish we had read reviews before booking. Rooms were ...... Interesting. Dirty. Walls covered in yellow liquid stains... Air conditioning broken. Lobby is approximately 80 degrees with the heat pumping to keep you out of it. Bunk beds were hardly stable. Basically just sheets on the bed. The door to the room closed but you could still see into the room completely through a large crack. They will not answer the phones and the lines are all disconnected. One line worked but we called it while in the lobby and the phone didn't ring. Location is very convenient!

Well, this is absurd. But most of the comments are all true. This is a top-notch hotel in Times Square. I thought it was a really top-notch hotel. No, this is horrible. I got a joint here, and things between hotels are very hot. I tried to open the window because it was very hot, and to avoid getting sick. The window came loose, and I almost fell from the 14th floor. I almost fell with the window, or the window would have fallen, or the worst would have happened, because then I was afraid to look down because it's really high up. We were very badly received because we didn't have a visa and they didn't want to do the check-in. The lady at reception didn't care if we had somewhere to sleep or not. The gentleman there was a good person. Otherwise, the room was all bad, everything was old. We came with everything paid for. This place has nothing. I've even stayed in better guesthouses than this. I don't usually criticize, but this is horrible. Let me tell you one thing: no matter what, stay in this pleasant place because this shouldn't be open.
