I have chose The George based on reviews and local’s recommendation, the room is good and spacious, nice swimming pool is salt water but cold in afternoon. I was shocked when I heard the FREE snacks and beverage in the fridge are only refilled on the first day, if you request to refill again it will be charge, my first day and 2nd day room rate charge the same, no discount. They provided an empty glass water bottle, you can refill the water at water station outside, mine at 2nd floor, the water station near the swimming pool. If you want a fresh towel, face towel or anything, u have to request. The Saffron dining has a very good review from social media, we were so eager to try the dim sum, the restaurant only serve from 7-10:30am, so we were happily go but back with disappointments, the dim sum tray only have siu mai and some Bao (bun), one noodle station, and limited others stuff…..if you stay at the hotel, it about RM47+ per pax. You could look for better choice out of the hotel with walking distance and end with a good coffee near by. Another shocking issue, I’m ordering a room service from the bar, I was told, there is additional charges of RM10 as a service fees to deliver to the room!???? Is just few step walking from the lobby to the 2nd floor with lift. So i decided to wait at the bar and collect myself, I have informed the staff pls make it a take away. (By the way, the staff asking do I have RM60 dining voucher, honestly I never see any voucher, it could be a random thing) I can’t imagine the take away was given me a plate with the food without cover or a tray and cutlery, they dun even have the take away box or any sort of packaging. In a moment I though I was stay at the hostel….paying for 5 star hotel rate but 2 stars hotel service or maybe less. It doesn’t worth for the 5 stars rate and overrated, I will not come back to this hotel again.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is great and convenient. I would definitely stay here again!
