Staff were on the whole great. That’s the best bit. Hotel is looking v tired. Woodwork and walls look they haven’t been painted in ten years. Issues with room (not the one booked) breakfast - if a buffet should actually have food on display. And persistently had to ask for room to be serviced. Cocktails pretty feeble (especially when compared with Grand up the road) All in all would give this a miss until they revamp it. Most definitely not 5 star.
