A very elegant and beautifully decorated restaurant. Unfortunately, our expectations were not met, especially considering the price. First, we had to wait an extremely long time for our drinks. The food was served first, and only after we asked for them were the drinks brought, even though the restaurant had plenty of staff. Additionally, there was a wine sommelier that evening. When we asked for non-alcoholic options, she simply laughed at us. This level of service is unacceptable given the price of the food and drinks. No thanks, we won't be back.

We had an amazing experience. The hotel is expensive, but it’s worth it. The staff is incredible, we were treated like family over Christmas. It was so special, this is a great place to go with family. Here’s a story that shows the level of service - I called to ask about getting a steamer for the room and help cleaning up a glass that I broke, we mentioned off hand that our hotel phone kept getting line busy, within 3 minutes, they had an engineer fixing the phone, someone had come to sweep the glass, and we had an ice bucket. Party in our room!! We did Christmas in the rooms so special. We also indulged In breakfast which is amazing, better than the Il San Pietro Positano which we thought couldn’t be beat. Great food, there was Prosecco, so many foods, so many smoked meats, it was the best of everything. I miss it already! So much more charm and warmth than the Aman. Really, I love this hotel. Thank you thank you thank you Gritti palace staff!!

The Gritti!!! The most wonderful beautiful hotel with by far the nicest hotel staff. From Roberta checking us in to the concierge staff being so kind at every encounter. They offered to take pictures for us. The food was amazing as well. The concierge staff took care of everything. They called us a water taxi that pulled up right to the hotel dock and took us to the airport.
