This hotel is highly creative in finding ways so that you are unable to sleep. They blast music obscenely loud at night till 1 am. How loud? Until the entire building shakes. Then when you can finally get some sleep, they start blasting music loudly at 6am for a run club, that barely runs. They have less calories burnt than the number of people they wake up. Can someone explain to me why a run club needs to be blasting music and needing a mic and emcee When you express your frustratio n and request humbly for them to turn down the volume, they will be extremely polite and apologize but not do anything about it, because they simply do not care. So in short, i reccomend this hotel if your purpose for booking a hotel is not needing any sleep. If you need to sleep, youre better off sleeping roadside elsewhere in Jakarta, because it will definitely be quieter than this hotel.

I have never felt this unsafe in a five-star hotel. Early in the morning, while I was still asleep, a stranger suddenly entered my room because the hotel staff gave them a key to my room by mistake. No knock, no verification—the door simply opened and someone walked in. Had I been changing or alone and unaware, the consequences could have been far worse. This is not a “minor mistake”; this is a serious security breach. What made it even more disappointing was the staff’s response. The staff member responsible (Gita) did not offer a proper apology, did not seem to escalate the incident to management, and initially offered nothing more than a late check-out—only after I asked for compensation. A “free night” was later mentioned, but with a deadline, which felt more like an attempt to close the case than to address the actual problem or review their safety protocols. A five-star hotel should prioritize guest safety and proper procedures, not minimize incidents of this scale. I no longer feel safe staying here, and I would not want anyone else to experience something like this. If a hotel cannot guarantee basic room security, the five-star rating becomes meaningless.
