Great location a short walk from Central Station. Lovely welcoming staff, warm cosy rooms. Everything you could want from a hotel, I would highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed!

We came into Amsterdam on a Viking River cruise - and they usually tell everyone to just stay at the Movenpick right by the cruise port. I looked, however, for other locations and found The Hendrick's. The rate was lower than the other, and the rating was better, so we decided to give it a shot. It was SO delightful. We were able to check in early (never assume, and always ask without expectation!), and the staff was just the best. They gave us some tips, made us cappucinos and were generally pleasant. The room was gorgeous. The location was perfect. The breakfast was an additional charge, but was WORTH IT. 10/10, Highly Recommend!!!

A lovely boutique hotel in the center of Amsterdam. The staff are extremely hospitable and go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Breakfast is good. If you're traveling by car, you can't park (near) the hotel. The hotel arranges valet parking for this. We needed our car earlier than expected in the morning, and they made a fuss about it. However, for €50, they were able to bring it to you with priority. A drawback for an otherwise well-rated hotel.
