EDIT SINCE I CAN'T RESPOND TO COMMENT: We did not feel comfortable bringing this up with the staff as we did not feel comfortable in the villa due to the pamphlet and your response to it - I also have no clue what 'friend' of ours delivered the pamphlet, there was only two of us there so this makes no sense. As well, if it was our 'friend' why would I not be told that when I first asked who left it? That is a cop out reason and again, this is the main reason we felt uncomfortable for the duration of our stay. Do not say this is our fault. I understand you deliver the food and are not peaking or stalking, but I hope it can be understood that we felt uncomfortable with our room being accessed without our knowledge especially after we found this pamphlet. --- They barged into our villa and unlocked our door 45 minutes earlier than when they said they'd bring breakfast. So we woke up to hearing the villa staff open our front door and walking around in the front room instead of knocking. The next day, we woke up to our food already being in our room - meaning that they had let themselves in and left it here over 30 mins early, which is just so invasive as they did not knock or make themselves known at all. Also, someone left a religious pamphlet at only our villas door which asked us to seek god, and included a handwritten note – likely because we are gay - so this really sucked and made us feel unwelcome, especially as it was our second day there. We asked the staff about it and they said "I don't know" which seems untrue because its a private complex. The pool was gross with many dead bugs on the surface at all times. The villa itself was decent but it was generally dirty and run down.

I wouldn't return. The villa was quite run-down, the cleaning was poor, and there were some defects in the room.
