I stayed here at the end of January while traveling for a funeral. The hotel itself was okay, but there were several issues that made the experience frustrating. The reservation was made for us by a relative over the phone, and they provided a credit card to be used for the room. When we checked in, the front desk asked us to swipe a card for a charge. When I asked what the charge was for, I was told it was a security deposit. Since we had just finished traveling and were tired, I assumed it was simply the deposit amount and went ahead and paid it. The room itself was small and felt tight for my partner, my son, and me. The furniture was older and quite worn, with paint flaking off in places. The bathroom fan did not work at all, and at times there was a very unpleasant smell coming from the drains. Those things were not ideal, but they were manageable for a short stay. The bigger issue came afterward. When I returned home, I was told the security deposit would be returned within about three days. After that time passed and the money had not been returned, I contacted customer service. They informed me that the charge was actually for the room plus the deposit, and that the card provided by my relative was never used. Customer service was very understanding and suggested that I contact the hotel manager to resolve the situation. They provided me with the manager’s email address, but after sending multiple emails, I have not received any response. The lack of communication has been the most disappointing part of this experience.

Rooms smell horrible, listen to the other reviews. They moved all the furniture out of the room above me from 10pm-2am during my stay. I couldn’t wait to leave and won’t return.
