Our group found ourselves riding out the February 22nd blizzard at The Kimberly. We were originally just supposed to stay only one night (Sunday) but due to the storm, ended up being 'stranded' for three nights. And honestly, we couldn't have been in better hands. If you're going to be 'stuck' somewhere, make it The Kimberly!! What could have been a stressful situation turned into a genuinely comfortable experience with a fun story, and that was all due to the service we received. Logistically it was an awesome property: The location was great and the rooms are enormous. We're talking a full little apartment: bedroom, separate seating area, vanity, a kitchen setup with a fridge and microwave, and even a balcony. When you're snowed in and can't go anywhere, having that kind of space to spread out makes all the difference. Robes, slippers, complimentary water, all the little touches that make you feel taken care of. What really stood out, though, was the staff. We learned that team members actually slept at the hotel overnight so they could continue providing service during the storm. That level of dedication is rare and didn't go unnoticed by our group. They made us feel safe and secure when the city outside was anything but. A special thanks to: The concierge staff, Fleidy and Dusty were supper helpful and accessible. The front desk team including MD and Enis were so resourceful and kind. Everyone had a service-minded attitude. The Kimberly turned a potentially miserable situation into something surprisingly enjoyable. We'd absolutely come back, blizzard or not.
