I booked there for one night as I was attending a wedding near by. Initially everything looked fine. However when I returned in the evening and tried to use the plug points, none of the ones by the bed worked neither did the TV. The aircon was also not effective at all. The water pressure in the bathroom was a trickle and when I tried to use the hand shower instead the part that you pull out fell off. When I went to report all these items at the reception I asked for the manager on duty before expressing my concerns, as I knew nothing could be done because it was close to checkout time, despite there being a gentlemen sitting opposite the desk who looked like someone more senior I was told that the manager/owner was not there. The lady at the front desk was apologetic but it was too little too late. Further to this I then also enquired about what medical services there were nearby as a friend who was also staying there had injured herself and I the lady at reception simply said she didn’t know, the gentlemen who I assume was the manager or owner was sitting right there and offered no help. I would not recommend staying here, it’s quite expensive at +R2000.00 for the night and the service I received as well as the room while presentable completely lacked the essentials you would expect at that price point. If the man that was sitting there was indeed the owner/manager, he really should be more present for his staff in difficult situations.
