Beautiful hotel with a nice modern art style. Beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were nice. I love the open shower concept in the room as well!

We stayed at the LINE Austin for a Sunday night towards the end of thanksgiving weekend. Room was okay but their front desk service was unapologetically awful. Front desk staff was inpatient and reluctant to help, room service line was forever on voicemail. You can’t even find the hostess for the restaurant on the ground floor. I’ve stayed at The LINE LA more than once where people were nice and friendly and the overall experience was great. If you choose to stay at The LINE Austin because you trust the brand, maybe think twice.

We ordered our reservations well in advance. They sent us a message 24 hours in advance to do a pre check in and asked us if we wanted any add ons. We tried to add on late check out but it was unavailable, so if that’s something you’ll want make sure you ask early as it’s first come first serve. The whole vibe of the place is super mega dark, which makes me think they’re hiding something. I almost thought the building was closed before coming in because there’s so low light. The bathroom had a sign to say you could request an extra light which was interesting. There was chipped paint all over which is maybe why they kept the light low. The vent was dirty and the TV was small. They did have a very nice view toward the city or toward the lake. And the P6 restaurant was fun to sit and look toward the water (the restaurant has a big wrap around balcony so there’s plenty of seats to loot out. The carpet was spooky. I got well aquatinted with it when I had to go to the 6th floor to refill my water every couple hours. It would’ve been nice to have water refills closer to the room, even just one of those water fountains with the water bottle thing. They did send me a message after a couple nights to check in and asked us how our stay was going. I appreciated them allowing us an opportunity to bring up any concerns. I bring up everything here, because I think it’s important for everyone to be able to make an informed purchase, but overall the place wasn’t bad at all. All the servers and staff were nice, the bed was made with fresh, clean sheets. It wasn’t noisy or disruptive. This is definitely a place you can enjoy a nice getaway.
