Was to stay at this hotel in mid Dec, but due to a sudden death I was unable to attend. I contacted the hotel with the View to move the booking to another date or a credit to be used at some point. I review a swift response from the hotel on the same day as I sent my email. Which confirm that the hotel would either allow me to rebook or use the booking on another date, which I was not expecting but was happy to be offered in good faith from the hotel. A few days later I confirm a date to the same person by email. Todate I have sending eight emails over almost three weeks with out a single replay to any. From this I can only guess that the first email of an offer to use on a different date was not genuine and at no time was this offer from the hotel going to be followed through. I now have had to book a different hotel that I have stayed at before. A lesson learned in bad customer service. Read the reviews before booking this hotel as the reviews would now appear to be the first step.
