Expensive, and beware the additional (for me) charge of $45.90 a night, for what it is. A small room without the promised bath, and no fridge! But the location is amazing, and the rooms are quiet. Right above a subway, and a 5 minute walk from penn station (where the airport trains arrive).

Had a great week in New York with the family! We had a few weird things happen at this hotelā€¦ when we first checked in, our rooms were showing as $600ish more than the price I booked for (we travel often and this was the first time this discrepancy has happened). They have Hilton Grand Vacation sales reps walking around the lobby trying to sell vacationsā€¦ super tacky and uncomfortable. The bellmen were SO awesome and helpful in storing bags and getting taxis! The front desk staff were really unpleasantā€¦ itā€™s just nice to work with nice people and this desk staff were so rude. The rooms were small, but par for NYC. The beds are nice, the pillows are about half the size of a standard pillow so you need to ask for more if you are used to full sized pillows. Rooms were very quiet!!! The location is close to Macys on 34th and the Flatiron building. Pretty far from most tourist things and took a lot of walkingā€¦ probably will not stay here again.

Such a bad hotel for proper sleep for aircrew.. They put me as flight deck crew at ultra small room at noisy area on crossroads of corridor just next to the ice vending machine and with great window view to prison (inside walls only). Ice machine which roars when working on standby and does awful ultra loud crashing noises when someone at middle of the night decides to grab some ice. Even with earplugs it woke me up twice!!!! Front desk unreachable, called 4 times, staff during daytime walking along rooms screaming in radios like during war, clapping doors, not caring about guests, guests also clapping doors loudly. Also ac engages and disengages with massive blast. Miserable overall.. Also as for flight deck crew this was worst and smallest room I have seen ever. Felt like prison with paper walls and paper doors, hear every conversation and every neighbour movement as massive sound. This is NOT what hotel should be like. This was bad joke and unslept night..
