We called up yesterday (Mother’s Day) on the off chance they could seat us for dinner, however we have someone who is immune compromised in our group. We explained to Ayesha who was sweet and understanding. She confirmed the reservation and promised to put us in a quiet corner and she would try and keep other reservations away from us. When we arrived, we were greeted by Emma with warmth and patience. She showed us into a private room without any other guests. She treated us so kindly, like meeting up with a friend. She gave us honest suggestions and helped us settled on our food and drinks. The menu is “traditional pub food” but elevated to a high standard. The food arrived within a perfectly reasonable time, was hot, and more importantly, delicious. The ingredients, presentation, and portion sizes were all spot on! The building itself is eclectic and beautiful. Emma was very knowledgeable on its history, which is super interesting considering it’s over 800 years old! Highly recommend this place for dinner, and if we return, we would certainly stay here too. Emma made our evening so enjoyable, along with the other staff who are all incredibly friendly! 5*

Our Mother’s Day dining experience at the Old Bell was fantastic…..as always. A beautiful building with perfect interior design. The food is right up there with the best and the service is second to none. Every member of staff are engaging, polite and extremely complimentary of each other, which says it all for me.
