The room was comfortable, but the receptionist was unhelpful. We arrived as several couples for one night following a wedding. We were supposed to check out in the morning. For being 30 minutes late, we had to pay an extra €30. Not very customer-friendly considering the price of the rooms and the money we brought them that evening. Since the receptionist had the nerve to tell us, "No need to stay, I'm not paying for drinks here...", well, I won't be paying for a second night either!

Very friendly welcome, but wouldn't that just be a cover-up for this hotel's flaws? It's a 2-star hotel, so you don't expect a king-size bed with a minibar. However, since the reception is closed from 8 p.m....or much earlier (6 p.m.), like this Thursday night, without any reason or explanation (no apology note on the door), it would be nice to have a kettle available (even a shared one) for a hot drink, for example. The television unexpectedly turning on at 2 a.m. and then again at 5 a.m., for no reason, doesn't help you enjoy your night, especially when you realize that the staff is aware of this problem but doesn't think it's important to inform you that "perhaps" there might be a problem and that it would be better to unplug it. On the 3rd floor, the hot water is unavailable in the evening, or lukewarm after long, long minutes of running the faucet. The staff knows this too, but doesn't bother to warn you that it can happen. You're just made to look like an idiot when you report it and are told it's impossible because the hotel has several very large hot water tanks... in the basement opposite your room! In short, the location of this hotel and the economic possibilities of staying there are the only good reasons to stay there. Other than that, I've just advised my company not to send any staff there. The welcome is, however, commendable, but that's not everything.
