The Peri Hotel Hua Hin

The hotel atmosphere is great. It's on a main road but very quiet, perfect for relaxation. The rooms are clean, and the beds are incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. They offer bead-making activities for guests to enjoy with their families. Most importantly, the hotel staff are wonderful, attentive, and genuinely helpful. I left something important in my room after check-out, and they helped me find it and sent it back. They were so lovely!

The room was clean, beautiful, and exactly as pictured. The location was great, easy to get around, and close to the beach (a short walk). The rice porridge for breakfast was delicious! ^^ The staff were very friendly and lovely.

LONG POST!!! I am writing this so that others do not get HUSTLED by this property. Clarity is key so let me break down the issue. The Good: Pool and room were good. Very clean and property well kept. Very close to Hua Hin Beach. S sea We had an issue with the toilet but they came quickly and fixed the problem. The Bad: We sent an email to ask for an additional bed. The woman at front desk said she didn’t receive the request and that we need to pay an additional 850 baht for an additional person. She said that it would be 1000 baht with breakfast. We asked to confirm “Breakfast for all three of us?” She said “Yes. All three will not have breakfast.” Our room wasn’t ready. We went by the pool and when the room was available my friend paid and we were all set. We had one key between the three of us but we were always together. The next day we went to breakfast and the woman said we need to pay 898 for breakfast. We informed her that we had paid the extra and were told breakfast was covered. When we went to check out, I handed the woman the key and she said there were two keys. I said I was only aware of one key but if there was another maybe my friend had it (these are programmable card keys by the way). She saw my friend and asked her for the key so my friend not knowing what to make of it went back and searched the room looked at the package we were given and found no other key. She went back and said there was no other key to which the woman said it would be 300 baht for missing key. WHAT? I went in and explained that we only had the one key and that we shouldn’t be charged for something we weren’t given. Her colleague agreed and we left. HERE’S WHERE IT GETS AGGRAVATING! We are now on our way back to Bangkok and receive a call that we owe 898 Baht for breakfast. She said that she only charged 850 for the bed not the 1000 w/ breakfast (the amount we confirmed with the same person) and that the other two people didn’t have breakfast included and breakfast is 299 baht a person. This is a complete cash grab! We clarified many times about the breakfast so that we were all on the same page. We don’t assume everyone is spectacular at English and of course make sure that effective communication is in place. My friend of course paid the additional but a room that was supposed to cost 150 CAD for one night ended up costing us an additional 70 CAD. Not to mention that the initial booking says 2 beds, accommodates 3. Please be very wary of places that don’t post upfront their additional fees. We would have ventured out for breakfast if it had not been presented that we would all get breakfast. I am also letting Expedia know that this was a very dishonest interaction in a place that prides itself in good customer service. A very disappointing end to what was a nice getaway.
