Good evening, From January 1, 2026, until tomorrow, we will be your guests in the room in question. Since January 1, there has been no hot water in our bathroom. With these Parisian temperatures, it's difficult to shower and wash your hair with freezing water. You could have notified us of this inconvenience upon our arrival, and we would have decided how to proceed. Last night, I called reception and they said, "We know, there's nothing we can do." This morning, a rather rude receptionist, while we were trying to tell her we didn't have hot water, pushed other guests past to check out. In a four-star hotel in Paris, in January, you can't be left without hot water, without explanations, and without a plumber. As you can well understand, we are experiencing a great and serious inconvenience. I also remember that when we checked in on January 1st after 3:00 PM, the room wasn't ready, and we had to wait at the hotel entrance. I absolutely don't recommend it.

I was due to stay for two nights from 30/12/25 but was unable to travel to Paris due to Eurostar disruption. This was completely outside of my control. As a result, I had no choice but to cancel and lost £347.21 due to the non-refundable policy. Unfortunately, the hotel was not helpful or empathetic when I explained the situation or asked for consideration under exceptional circumstances. Very disappointing handling of an unavoidable situation. Response 02/01/2026 On the day of disruption, an estimated 25,000 Eurostar passengers were affected. Securing alternative travel for the following day was not realistic due to capacity constraints, and there was no other viable way for us to travel to Paris and enjoy our stay. Eurostar were able to offer us a date change to the end of January as a goodwill gesture. This is the type of flexibility or understanding that would have been appreciated in this situation.
