Overall our experience was good but not great here. Check in: We had a late flight and only checked in at 3am but there was a receptionist at the front desk and he was probably the most helpful receptionist we encountered at the hotel. There was an issue with the hotel not having a reservation for us (we booked through capital one travel) but the receptionist was patient while we figured it out, and even gave us complimentary breakfast for our stay (usually 250 tb/person/day. The food was really good, better than average continental breakfast but more so is lunch food) House cleaning: while house cleaning is prompt with requests ( we asked for an ironing board and also help with our safe), they did not clean our room one day and did not give us clean towels another day. Reception: we were planning to go to grand palace, but when I asked the receptionist, she told me with conviction the palace is closed (2 different receptionists told me this). Luckily we called the palace and confirmed it was open, and when we told receptionist she only said that's what she was told by someone else. This is a common scam tuktuk drivers and others do, but I don't understand why hotel receptionist would do this. I assume they were genuinely mislead. The room was clean and AC worked great and we took the shuttle they offer once and it was prompt. There is also an atm and small vending machine by the lobby.
