My husband and I stayed here to end our Japan honeymoon, and we are so glad we made this our grand finale. I cannot put into words how magical our stay was. From check in to check out, the beauty and tranquility of this hotel and the hospitality of the staff made us feel like royalty. No detail was missed to make our stay here unforgettable. We truly hope we have the opportunity to stay here again!

I reserved a room six months in advance, but it wasn't ready even an hour after check-in time. I was told to have a drink in the lounge and wait. Do they charge me for the coffee and tea I had? Of course not (lol). My mood was ruined right from the moment I arrived. There have been many scathing reviews elsewhere, and they were right. I have to say the on-site staff are not at the Ritz-Carlton level. They have no idea what they're selling or how much they charge.

Two women stayed here at the end of September. It was our first trip to the Ritz-Carlton, and we were really looking forward to it. Early in the morning, we found a cockroach in our room. We called immediately and had them come, but by then the cockroach had disappeared somewhere. The staff member seemed panicked and said, "For now," and began connecting an Earth No-Mat that was in the room, but this pointless action did nothing to combat the cockroach, which made us even more anxious. After that, they just brought us some insecticide and didn't offer to switch rooms. We were left in a room with no idea where the cockroach was, and we were very anxious. In the end, we found a cockroach in our room, and my friend had to get rid of it... When we told the staff member this, he said, "That's amazing." They really do take their customers for granted. We didn't even receive an apology when we checked out. I wonder if they treated us like this because our membership rank is low and we aren't special guests. I ended up with the impression that the Ritz-Carlton Okinawa = a hotel with cockroaches. It was a very disappointing stay.
