We stayed at The Savoy Hotel in London from the 9th to the 11th of March while celebrating our 20th anniversary, and the entire experience was simply magical. The setting of the hotel is truly special and easily makes it the best hotel we’ve stayed in during our visits to London. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. The check-in staff kindly upgraded our room when they learned we were celebrating our anniversary, which was a wonderful and much-appreciated surprise. To make the stay even more memorable, we also had complimentary chocolates and champagne delivered to our room - such a thoughtful touch. The hotel itself is absolutely amazing, but it’s the team who work there that truly make the experience so special. We’d like to give a big shout-out to a few people who made our stay particularly memorable. George in the American Bar served our drinks and made the evening really enjoyable. Maithili and Giulia in the Thames Foyer restaurant looked after us during afternoon tea and breakfast and were both fantastic. The afternoon tea was incredible and very different from other afternoon teas we’ve had elsewhere - definitely worth experiencing if you visit. The vegan breakfast also deserves a special mention, as it was completely unique and something we’ve never seen or tasted before. Overall, we would give The Savoy 100% for hospitality, professionalism, and outstanding staff. Thank you for making our 20th anniversary truly unforgettable. We hope to see you again soon.
