I wanted to post a 5 of 5 review, but there were a few things that killed that last star. Overall: a great experience, beautiful hotel, spectacular views, and wonderful check-in process. The rooms were clean, comfortable, had a hot water kettle, and excellent design. Improvements: the carpet is dated and doesn't match the rooms. The gym is functional, but very limited. I would love to see improvements here. They charge $8 per bottle of water in the room. I don't see why more hotels don't offer filling stations or complimentary water in sustainable containers vs single use consumption. Bad: I was charged a $29 resort fee, which was fine, and it included a physical $15 "poker" chip to be redeemed/used at the on-site restaurant. I looked at both the dinner and breakfast menu, hoping to use the credit and there were limited/no options for vegan diets. It is getting beyond frustrating to go anywhere these days and not have dietary flexibility built into the menu. Not everything needs meat or dairy in or on it. Additionally, I was heading out and forgot my poker chip, and figured I could just redeem it for a chai on the way out. The gentleman at the front desk told me I couldn't use the credit and he couldn't provide me with a token to use at the bar without going back up to room and retrieving my physical token. An inconvenience, but a hospitality miss. Eliminate the poker chip and just apply a $15 credit, or hand over a poker chip to use, or offer more menu items so I could actually eat there next time.

The staff was so friendly, welcoming, and accommodating! The restaurant was a great experience with fast service and delicious food. Great location next to pike place market. Overall a very joyful experience. Definitely recommend!

Locations nice. But I'm not sure how to give it a high rating when it charges me $120 for sheet damages from a few drops of menstrual discharge. Apparently room services doesn't include cleaning the sheets.
