I stayed for 5 nights with a friend. The room is fantastic. It's huge and very clean. I also love the classy minimal design and the room layout. Plenty of space for our luggages. The minibar and house keeping department did very good job. They kept filling all items in the room for us everyday. The front desk staff were helpful. The location of the hotel is great, connected to the luxury mall and very close to Starbucks, street vendors Wujiang Rd, and shopping area of Nanjing Rd. I really recommend this hotel. I will be back here for sure if I visit Shanghai again.

Location: The Sukhothai Shanghai is located in Jing'an, directly connected to the HKRI shopping mall. Many supermarkets, restaurants, and shops are nearby. The sculpture park in front of the Natural History Museum and the beautiful parks of the People's Square Residential District are just a few minutes' walk away. From the nearby West Nanjing Road, you can take tram lines 2, 12, and 13 directly to the People's Square Residential District or the Bund. Accommodation/Rooms: I still remember the wonderful ginger scent in the elevators. The hotel is modern, and the rooms are beautiful, well-maintained, and very clean. We loved it because the entire hotel has a wonderful design. The lobby features a beautiful staircase and a waterfall. The room was very spacious at 40 square meters, but the (too large) desk took up a lot of space. A downside is that the toilets are not separated from the room, so you can hear everything. Otherwise, we loved the view from our room (on the 15th floor), as well as the huge bed, the large shower, and the bathtub. Breakfast: The breakfast is compact but wonderful. Everything is very fresh and delicious. There's a noodle station and one for Chinese wraps. It was great that the wontons were made right in front of us. Service: The service was attentive, friendly, and very helpful. We were able to check out two hours later upon request, we always received children's cutlery at breakfast, and the room cleaning was excellent.
