Bad attitude Bad service…

Although it was quite pricey as we had found this hotel at short notice, we were very satisfied. The hotel is located on a main road, so it's well lit and there is a lot of foot traffic, so I didn't feel particularly unsafe walking around alone as a woman at night. The room was spacious and we could fit two large suitcases in, and the toilet flushed and the sink was large and easy to use. However, since it was the middle of winter, the draft through the windows was very cold, making it a little difficult to adjust the air conditioning. Perhaps because there was only one room with a large bed available, there was only one chair and a desk-like object built into the wall, which made it inconvenient for two people to eat together. The lock on the inside of the door was poorly fitted, making it difficult to open and close, so we were afraid of getting locked out and couldn't use it. The lock on the top, which was meant to open the door slightly, also had a loose screw and couldn't be used. I think there was one Japanese-style outlet and three Korean-style ones. There was one Korean-style outlet near the sink. The hair dryer seemed to be originally attached to the wall, so there were outlets elsewhere. The bathroom was stocked with vegan shampoo, conditioner, and hand soap/face wash. Even though we were staying for two, for some reason there was only one set of amenities: a comb, a set of cotton balls and cotton swabs, a shower cap, and a sanitary bag. There were two sets of slippers. There were two bottles of water, two coffee bags, and two tea bags. There was a kettle. GS25 was conveniently located on the first floor. Open 08:00-23:50. The note handed to us at the front desk said "tax-free," but it wasn't. The gentle, young female staff, unusual for Korea, were always kind and helpful, which I appreciated. PayPay was accepted. Although we didn't use them, there was a cafe on the first floor, a restaurant in the basement that seemed to only serve breakfast, and a treadmill in a small room. I didn't notice it until the end, but there was also a microwave there. I wish I had known about it sooner. Delivery is also available. They leave it in the lobby. It's fast, cheap, and convenient. The limousine bus stops right outside, which is very convenient. The smoking area is outdoors on a side street from the hotel, so I was glad I wasn't trapped in a confined room with cigarettes. The front desk staff were polite and the cleaning ladies always greeted me, creating a nice atmosphere. It's close to the station and downtown, and there's a standalone CU on a back street, so it's fine even after the hotel's convenience store closes. As it's a Japanese-run hotel, there were many Japanese guests, and I had a comfortable stay without encountering any rowdy or vulgar customers. However, there were some arrogant young Japanese guys in the smoking area, which made me feel uncomfortable.
