The narrow side street is quite creepy at night. The facilities are really old. The shower sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. The whole room is dark.

This hotel is located right next to Venezia Santa Lucia Station, just a one-minute walk off the main busy street, which made arrival and departure incredibly easy. Since Venice has no land transportation within the island other than gondolas or traghettos, and walking deeper into the city often means narrow alleys, uneven paths, and many bridges, staying near the central station turned out to be an excellent choice. From the outside the hotel looks small, but once inside it feels modern and well maintained, with a new elevator and thoughtfully designed interiors. I traveled solo, so the room was on the smaller side, but it was more than enough for resting comfortably. The room was warm, and both hot water and water pressure worked perfectly. One of my biggest concerns when booking accommodation in Venice was the bathroom, but it turned out to be very clean, modern, and completely problem-free, which was a huge relief. All staff members were kind and responsive, and I was very satisfied with the service overall. On my last evening, there was a small incident in front of the hotel where a group of pickpockets attempted to target another traveler walking ahead of me. A hotel staff member immediately came outside to assist, which made me feel very safe and reassured. This didn’t feel specific to the neighborhood but rather a broader issue currently affecting Venice as a whole. Breakfast was a European-style spread with a strong Italian focus and was thoroughly enjoyable. The Italian croissants were especially good, and Nutella, honey, and jams were generously provided. There were several options of bacon and cold cuts, along with freely available juice and coffee. I also really enjoyed the Italian pastries. A large COOP supermarket nearby was extremely convenient for picking up sparkling wine, ham, fruit, and other light items to enjoy back at the hotel in the evening. Given that Venice is currently very expensive and most restaurants charge a cover fee, having this option nearby was a huge advantage. During my stay, the weather was quite cold with occasional rain, and I felt like I might catch a cold, but the hotel was consistently warm, which made a big difference. Visiting in spring, summer, or fall would likely make the rooftop or terrace even more enjoyable—something I missed during my winter stay. Overall, considering the location, price, and friendliness of the staff, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Venice. Overall, this hotel is very satisfying in terms of location, price, and friendliness. I highly recommend it if you're planning a trip to Venice.

What a relief this hotel was for us. After a disappointing experience with an Airbnb that was nothing like advertised, we found this hotel and they accommodated us immediately without hesitation. They truly saved our trip to Venice. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful. The room was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed after a stressful situation. That level of cleanliness alone made a huge difference. The location is also a major plus extremely close to the train station, which is a game changer in Venice. Not having to drag luggage up and down bridges and stairs made traveling with bags so much easier. Every interaction with the staff throughout our stay was pleasant and reassuring. We felt taken care of the entire time. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Venice, especially if you value cleanliness, kindness, and a convenient location.
