THE WESTBOURNE HYDE PARK

◾️Location With easy access to Paddington Station, it was convenient for sightseeing in London. The area around the hotel was quiet and comfortable. ◾️Service The front desk staff were all friendly and courteous. The check-in and check-out instructions were also thorough and helpful. ◾️Rooms We stayed in a Deluxe Twin Suite. A sofa bed was available for reservations for three people. Some people may find the bed size, especially the length, to be small. The room was spacious enough, although we had to use a little in order for everyone to open our large suitcases. The refrigerator was large and had freezer space. An oven, microwave, electric kettle, and other amenities were also available. The shower pressure was strong and comfortable. The hair dryer's airflow was also fine. ■Concerns The cleaning was lacking. While basic cleaning was performed, such as making the beds, cleaning the trash can, and replenishing towels, other aspects honestly fell short of expectations. Unfortunately, I noticed fabric fibers on the sheets (perhaps from clothes on the carpet?) and strands of hair every day. It was a very unpleasant experience to find a hair of a different color stuck in a brand new bath towel. Also, the sink, toilet, and bathroom are crammed into a small space. I wanted to wear slippers inside, but when I opened the door with the bath mat laid out, there was no room to step. ■Overall The guest rooms are a little small, but otherwise there were few issues. The positive aspects of my stay outweighed the negatives, so I gave it this rating, but in reality, I think the balance with the booking price is important. If the quality of cleaning could be improved, I think staying at this hotel would be even more worthwhile.

My brother and I stayed at several hotels during our weeks in London, around Paddington Station, Earl’s Court, and other areas, but this hotel truly takes the cake. The location is excellent: just a short walk from the station, incredibly close to Hyde Park, and surrounded by plenty of great restaurants and cafés. What we especially appreciated was that the hotel isn’t right on the main road, so it’s nicely tucked away from traffic noise while still being close to everything you need. A special shout-out to Bulbul at the reception desk, who was absolutely fantastic. He was warm, professional, and extremely helpful, and thanks to him we received a room upgrade for a very nominal fee, which made our stay even more comfortable and enjoyable. I also want to highlight the housekeeping staff, Mary and Elsa. Housekeeping teams are often overlooked, but they truly deserve recognition. Mary and Elsa were absolutely lovely, friendly, attentive, and meticulous, and their care made a real difference to our stay. Between the location, comfort, and most importantly the wonderful staff, this hotel stood out among all the places we stayed in London. Highly recommended.

A quiet and lovely family hotel. The rooms are clean and reasonably sized. Close to Hyde Park. Close to the subway.
