If you’re paying $400-$600+ a night to stay a the Westin, I expect top tier cleanliness and service. I have traveled all over the world; Dubai, Paris, Thailand, the Caribbean, you name it and have stayed in hotels way cheaper with much better cleaning. The only thing you’re paying for here is the view. White liquid substance in the elevators, condom wrapper remains in the hallway, Starbucks was closed at 2pm when they aren’t supposed to close until the late evening, our first room shower water was lukewarm, and the second shower drain was clogged. I had to walk to Dunkin 5 mins away for an iced coffee and felt uncomfortable due to the amount of addicts and homeless men on the streets as a woman because for whatever reason Starbucks decided to shut their store inside of the hotel down. I asked the help desk and they were even unaware.. they simply said “oh… they must’ve left early”. What in Gods name are we paying so much money for? I would like to continue the relationship with the Westin and continue booking with you all; as my fiancé and I are world travelers, but please step it up and give people what they pay for. My friends stayed at the Hilton down the street and the rooms were much cleaner and updated. Clearly management here is not doing their job. And before you guys comment and say that I did not stay, my booking was under the last name Ellis & I was her guest. The cleanliness of this place is absolutely unacceptable. The good things I would say is that the views are awesome and the express services was very accommodating & the gym was also nice. I’m an Atl native and have been to many of our hotels in the city and this one was greatly disappointing. I hope this can be rectified.
