We stayed at this property years ago and it's in a great location and maintained very well. The only reason for four stars is the joke that is the executive concierge lounge. It's extremely small and whereas the concierge in the evening is a lovely person, it was so ill equipped with garbage food and wine and bottles that have been clearly opened and closed over days and tasted like vinegar. The poor concierge called a number of times for refill on whatever food there was earlier, but nobody responded from the kitchen. Car dealerships have better offerings in their service lounge. There's nothing executive about this lounge as it's underwhelming to say the least and extremely small. Disappointing.

Was quoted a lower rate but charged almost double. Asked for receipt was told I’d get it when I checked out. Bed sheet was not a fitted sheet, was ripped and had blood on it. Bathroom floor was dirty. Lobby was very clean.

I visit the Richmond area often and usually stay at the Marriott downtown or the one in Shortpump, but this time opted for this Westin. This is a very nice property, in decent shape, clean, well-maintained, and fairly decent service. My room was comfy and nicely maintained, everything worked fine too. They have a concierge lounge on the 7th floor, which I checked out the first night I was here and it wasn’t impressive at all. Lacked decent selection of snacks, having only a few bags of potato chips and nothing else. There was a lady sitting in there watching TV who I think was the bartender for their snack/bar hours. Aside from that and the mediocre service at the bar, I’d definitely return in the future.
