The lobby of The Westin Singapore is located on the 32nd floor and opens up into a beautiful, sophisticated space with great views. This time, I stayed in a two-bedroom room booked with points. The room was very spacious and comfortable, with no feeling of being cramped at all. The bathroom was well maintained, and the shower water pressure was strong and reliable. However, the toilet seat was cold, and there was no bidet (washlet), which may be a downside for some guests. Amenities covered the basics, but there were no pajamas provided. The pool on the 35th floor was warm enough even for someone like me who gets cold easily. The view from the pool was excellent, making it enjoyable for adults, and the children were also very happy spending time there. As a Marriott Bonvoy Platinum member, I had access to the lounge. While it was nice to have, the food selection was fairly limited, so I didn’t use it much. That said, it was good to be able to try laksa there. It’s best to think of the lounge as a small bonus rather than a major highlight. The location is very convenient: Chinatown and several famous hawker centers are within walking distance, and Shenton Way MRT station is right in front of the hotel, making it easy to get around by public transport. Due to an unexpected flight cancellation, my stay was shortened, but the hotel kindly refunded one night’s worth of points. I really appreciated the flexibility and thoughtful service. Overall, it’s a comfortable, well-located hotel with great views, especially suitable for travelers who value space and convenience.

I booked two rooms for a full week at The Westin Singapore, Marina View expecting a restorative stay aligned with Westin’s wellness promise. A major disappointment was that I was unable to use the spa’s steam room and whirlpool, as part of the guest experience since it was too busy. I would encourage the hotel to be more transparent about this perk. When guests choose a Westin for its wellness facilities, access to those amenities is not a minor detail. All other aspects are in line with the standards.
