Beautiful hotel and rooms. We enjoyed the hotel very much. The negative part of this review is solely based on the hotel wedding coordinator, Dana, who was just a train wreck. It’s unfortunate that the hotel continues to allow Dana to represent them in their wedding department. My brother got married here a few months ago and Dana was incredibly rude and short with the bride and groom as well as my sister and I who were helping set up the room. Dana was very dismissive, snarky, cold, and unhelpful the entire day. I felt so bad for my sister-in-law who’s super sweet and easy going. Dana is doing the hotel a disservice by acting as their wedding coordinator. Otherwise the venue was beautiful and the hotel was lovely :)

This review is solely for Dana Jordan who was the catering sales manager for my wedding at Westlake Village Inn. The venue itself, hotel, food, and other staff were great. Dana made what is supposed to be one of the most special days in your life, an awful experience. She's rude, unprofessional, condescending, and unorganized. I myself work in the client service industry and would be appalled if anyone on my team treated someone like she treated me. She was often unclear and told us conflicting information, and when we wanted clarification or an explanation, she was short and became noticeably upset. She was also very rude to my mother-in-law and sisters-in-law on the day of the wedding, which is totally unacceptable. Once you dig into the reviews for this wedding venue, you'll see that many of the negative ones focus on Dana's team (wedding coordinators). My husband described her team as "rotten." If you're looking for an stress-free, easy to work with venue who values its customers, this is not the place to go.
