The staff are excellent. The rooms are very clean. It's central and only 5 minutes from the railway station. Harrogate has good bus links too. The hotel gets busy on Friday and Saturdays because the bar and restaurant are popular with non-residents. The breakfast is excellent, but it will ruin your diet.

Always wanted to stay after often driving past whilst visiting Harrogate. Did not disappoint! They have done well introducing modernism into the quirkiness of an old building. Our room this time was a small and basic room owing to a voucher deal, however it was well furnished, cosy, very clean and a nice view overlooking the surrounding area, so worth the price point. The staff conduct themselves with professionalism, are all approachable, welcoming and helpful. There are lifts and stairs to all rooms. Nice bar area, and breakfast was really good too. High quality food, well cooked. Self serve Buffet style, traditional english breakfast items, such as bacon, sausage, etc, along with a selection of cereals, pastries, tea and coffee. Looking forward to staying again and trying a different style room. Good place to stay for business trips.
