Therme Laa Hotel and Spa

The Silent Villas are a real highlight and offer everything you need for a relaxing spa holiday. The Silent Spa, on the other hand, is nothing special and not worth the extra cost.

Nice hotel, but unfortunately they let in too many people. Too few sun loungers.

Bullying at Reception I stayed at the hotel with my mother for two nights in October 2025. We were very disappointed overall: The behavior of some of the young receptionists was quite unprofessional and inappropriate. Upon check-in on October 22nd, I was addressed by one employee (1) in a loud, almost aggressive tone when I wasn't given the correct information and unfortunately had to ask about very simple things, such as dinner. When I calmly suggested she speak more quietly, she explained that she was speaking that way because I was "speaking quietly" (!). ... Her colleague (2) watched me almost hostilely (very unpleasant looks), and did so again the next day when I went to reception after a sleepless night because the ventilation in the room was so loud and couldn't make the room warmer than lukewarm. Things came to a head at check-out: The same colleague (2) whispered something in the ear of the employee who was handling our check-out, right in front of me (!!), and immediately afterward, the employee's behavior (3) also changed noticeably, becoming unfriendly. It's hard to believe that the receptionists here bully the customers! What unprofessionalism! Unfortunately, the food in the restaurant was average, not up to the standard of a 4-star hotel. The vegetarian main course was excessively salty, and my mother's dish was missing ingredients (chanterelle mushrooms), etc. We had to wait a long time for empty plates to be cleared. At one point, I had to ask the waitress to clear the plates. She reacted rudely (unprofessionally!). The restaurant service team seemed overwhelmed. The room... The ventilation was so loud (!) that sleep was virtually impossible. There was no extra blanket (!), and as a solution, the next day, when I already had a cold, we were brought an electric heater (!) with the explanation that the ventilation systems in some rooms were old and noisy due to their age—an unacceptable situation in a 4-star hotel. For the price and the hotel category, I expected a "standard" level of professionalism, friendliness, and comfort. The behavior at reception was shameful; not being able to sleep because of the (age-related!) ventilation and believing they can offer 4-star comfort in such rooms without extra blankets: never again.
