This is our view … we did call and ask while nobody has been on the courts for a long time … nothing. Not good.

Thompson managed to ruin our NYE dinner last night with their disastrous buffet. For $1000 dollars for 4 people it was an absolute disgrace. The meat was dry and chewy, the seafood was also terrible and the buffet served you tiny portions that did not match the $200 dollars per person rate. Overall the quality was so below their “luxury” status. The staff were not attentive at all to the point we had to clear our own table. We left so disappointed and the value money is certainly not there. We were returning guests but will never be again!!!!!

My wife and I are in love with this place. I'd say the food could be better, but I'm not complaining. The hotel is well-designed, the rooms are very comfortable, especially those with ocean views. The heart of the hotel is its staff; they all truly embody the boutique hotel concept, always there to help, not just to be accommodating. The experience has been wonderful in every way, both when staying at the hotel and when using the day pass, whether as a couple or as a family. I think this hotel is what makes us want to return to Zihuatanejo every time.
