An absolutely charming hotel in a fairly central location, with the train station practically on the doorstep, as well as the metro and bus… In the evenings, you can go to one of the many restaurants or walk a few meters to the supermarket… It's less than a 20-minute walk to the city center (Notre Dame, for example). Ideal for city breaks arriving by TGV. The staff is incredibly friendly and always helpful… We noticed that the young man in housekeeping was more diligent and tidy; he even lovingly put the stuffed animals back on the bed, while the young woman simply tossed them carelessly onto the suitcase… We stayed for 7 days, and the room was quite small, especially since we had two large suitcases and there was no wardrobe, just a few hangers and a shelf. In winter, with warm clothes, this was a bit lacking… Every day (except when the young woman was doing housekeeping), there was fresh tea, coffee, and biscuits in the room. A kettle and mugs were also provided… English is spoken here, and you won't get strange looks if you don't speak French. Breakfast was okay (included in our room price), we wouldn't pay extra for it… there's a coffee machine, a water dispenser, and a wide selection of teas… Otherwise, it's always the same: cheese, cold cuts, juice, baguette, croissants, etc. Unfortunately, nothing fresh, but the orange juice was great… it's sufficient to get you going for the day… Tip: Book your room with breakfast included on Booking.com, otherwise breakfast is too expensive for what's offered. We're giving it 5 stars because the staff is really very attentive and they pay a lot of attention to cleanliness 👍🏻 which, as we discovered, isn't always a given in Paris!

We had a wonderful time in Paris. We especially wanted to visit Notre Dame and were absolutely amazed at how faithfully the reconstruction has been recreated. Hats off to the builders! Paris at Christmastime was crowded but beautiful.
