This hotel was more than disappointing. We arrived and announced that we had a reservation for three nights. The woman at reception (not very friendly) seemed to be looking for our reservation before telling us there was a problem with the twin rooms. At that point, she suggested we spend our first night in another hotel in the group and then come back the next day for our remaining two nights. We refused; we chose this hotel for its location, so there was no question of going anywhere else. She finally gave us a room with a double bed. We got to the room, and there were no towels or bath mats in the bathroom. So we went back down to reception, where the woman gave us two towels, but still no bath mat... never mind. Major renovations are underway in the hotel, and we received no email to warn us about the work and the noise and disruption it would cause! Sending an email to everyone who had booked a room at your establishment during the renovation period would have been the least you could do... The next morning, we were woken up before 8 a.m. by the construction work; it was incredibly noisy, making it impossible to sleep properly. So much for rest. In the afternoon, while we were trying to relax, the fire alarm went off, the fire doors slammed shut, and it lasted for 5 minutes. We started to leave, only to be told it was nothing and would stop in 5 minutes. Then the water was cut off in the room, only to be turned back on a little later. And the worst part... the tourist tax... €5.53 per person per night!!!! Outrageous!!! That adds more than €30 to a stay that cost over €300!! The establishment offered no compensation whatsoever for the room change or the noise from the construction work. This is the first and last time I will ever stay there.

Hotel in a great location, very close to Gare du Lyon, nice and clean rooms, competitive price. The only complaint is the shower curtain🥺

The hotel is very nice, clean, quiet, and well located, just a 5-minute walk from the train station. The staff are friendly and offer excellent advice. The breakfast is comprehensive, even for children.
