The first room we were given was unclean and had a strong smell of mold. After complaining, the very kind receptionist apologized and offered us a room change, which we accepted. The second room was clean and tidy. The breakfast was ok, but could have been a little more varied. The bright spot of this hotel is the very kind and helpful staff at the reception.

In my opinion, the accommodations are outdated. The bed was uncomfortable, and rest was basically what I was looking for in a hotel. Of the four nights we stayed, the first three were woken up by other guests shouting in the hallways. It's not the fault of management or staff, but I think this aspect needs to be addressed. We felt the room wasn't clean. It rained in Rome during our visit, so leaves and other debris stuck to our shoes and ended up in the room. On the third day, we realized the floor wasn't being cleaned. I would recommend lowering the heating in both the rooms and hallways; it was too hot, even for January. Breakfast was very basic; we couldn't find any fresh fruit. I appreciated the gluten-free bread and cookies, although it would be good to know beforehand that they have them and not have that uncertainty. The staff was very friendly at all times.

I stayed with my family recently and have never had an experience like this. The room was extremely humid with water leaking from the windows, the bathroom was half broken, not to mention the cleaning was never swept in 4 days, the fridge was leaking and there were ants in it, an unpleasant experience to say the least. The breakfast was poor and shameful, I won't describe it so as not to be rude. Upon arrival, we asked for a map and some information about the area, but nothing!!! The concierge snubbed us, even upon departure, nothing!!! The only positive thing about this place is the location; otherwise, I would have it closed down!!!! Shameful!!!!
