The biggest issue was the temperature. The rooms get extremely hot and stuffy, and the AC is centrally controlled. During autumn/winter it’s set only to heating. We stayed 5 nights in late autumn and had to keep the window open the entire time because the room was uncomfortably hot. Cleanliness was quite bad. The room was noticeably dirty, with dust and splatter marks in several areas (see photos). The glasses in the bathroom were on a dirty tray. Housekeeping only changes towels and empties bins daily, but they will replace the sheets upon request with no problem. The room size is good by Japan standards, and having a washer/dryer is very convenient—though the controls can be difficult to use.

Location very good. Cleanliness in the room was terrible and service was very indifferent! Thick layers of dust on the walls and blinds, and it smelled musty. As someone with allergies and eczema, it was truly unbearable. We left after two nights and stayed at another hotel nearby for a better price. Much better, cleaner, and friendlier, with the same great location!

Stayed for 3 nights, staff said no cleaning service for the whole stay, only change towel . No floor and bed cleaning!? First time to hear! And staff didn’t feel sorry, so arrogant !
