This is a non-smoking facility, but they allow pot smokers to smoke in their rooms. I just spent 11 nights straight and complained three different times that my neighbor in room 209 was using pot and it was coming through the vent in my bathroom in room 211. The entire front desk was aware of my situation and management came to my room and eventually went in room 209 and they took photos of the ashes and smelled the lingering pot which confirmed my neighbor was using or “hotboxing” as Brian called it. Kate Still in management allowed guest in 209 to stay when I was told he was locked out of his room on Wednesday the 11th. It so happened, no backbone Kate left paperwork for her staff to confront the pot smoking/boom box player and they did not confront Mr. 209 as they were not management and I don’t blame them for avoiding such an idiot. Kate told me on Wednesday after returning from hospital that the pot smoker would be “checking out tomorrow and I would get a good nights sleep on Thursday”. What about the other four nights I had to smell his pot. That wasn’t a very good comment to make to me when I’m visiting for an ICU patient and abide by the rules and I checked in on March 2 and left March 13th. Barking dogs are also free to disrupt your sleep and the hotel had a major water leak on second floor that closed bathrooms on first floor, cause sheet rock and paint to collapse, and buckets sitting around to collect water in the main dining area which was a nice look with sheet rock laying on the floor. I do not know if that would be considered an OSHA violation or not. Upon check out, Brian offered to deduct one small bags of chips and two or three sodas from by bill when I asked for a discount. I declined his ridiculous discount and will contact corporate ASAP! I will not stay at this facility ever again and if you enjoy pot this is the place for you.
