Both The General Manager and Regional Manager are super wonderful. A family member had a big surgery and need a handicap room. Lahcen and Vaness went on and byone to make sure our request was taken care of. We did have to extended our room when we notified The GM she said she was sold out but would extend us if anyone canceled. Someone did cancel and the GM notified us ASAP to extended our room. The whole hotel was super clean.

Just the opinion of one frequent traveler, but there are many other choices in Hobbs for lodging that in my mind, are much better - I will not stay here again. 1. Value equation- seems to me they raise the regular rate to almost double their direct competition, then discount to contract groups, such as oil services groups. For me, this means the solo traveler pays way too much for a comparable room making for a poor value. 2. A real excrement show - it appears that the architect selected trees that would attract thousands of birds that poop all over the cars in the parking lot. 3. Check in experience- front desk person made me wait a very long time to check in. It seemed to take about a half hour to perform a 2 minute check in. No welcome- just a disdainful look, as if I was somehow dirty. Other reviews confirm my feelings of unwelcomeness at this $$$ property. She said she was too busy and I needed to wait- while she searched the hotel for extra soap for another employee of a sister property. She didn't care about my Marriott status and demeaned me, threatening to not check me in, because I made her uncomfortable. No respect for a paying guest!

We reserved a 2 bedroom suite about a month in advance. Upon arrival, we were told that room was not available to us and we were downgraded to whatever they had available. No other compensation offered for having to cram our whole family in a smaller room. Very disappointed in this location and in Marriott (Bonvoy) for their lack of support. As a side note, be sure not to park under any trees at this location as the birds will destroy your car in the evenings.
