I stayed at this hotel where the fire alarm suddenly went off at 2:30 AM for no reason, shocking both me and my wife. It took almost two minutes to stop. I called reception multiple times before the night-shift worker finally picked up. After talking for a moment, he told me the firefighters were there and then hung up on me. We went downstairs to check what was happening—there was no one at reception and no firefighters outside. The place felt completely abandoned. After 10–15 minutes, the night-shift worker finally showed up. He spoke to us without any respect, didn’t apologize, and kept facing his computer. When we asked about the situation, he rudely asked what we wanted from him. We requested to move rooms, and he said that wasn’t possible. In the morning, a different gentleman at reception—very professional and polite—apologized and told me to call the next day to speak with the manager about a possible partial refund. I called, but the lady who answered said the manager was busy, and it seems my complaint was never passed on. After staying in hotels across three continents, this was the worst experience I’ve ever had. I’m giving one star only because I cannot give zero, and because the morning reception staff member was respectful.

Rooms were fine, like you’d expect from a townplace suites. Location is not great, if it’s busy and dark the access road can become quite a hassle to join.
